As a blogger, I follow other bloggers to see what they are
writing about. I do this for a few reasons. Sometimes I read other people posts
hoping to find interesting stuff. Other times I may be looking for a good topic
to build on. For example, this post: LINK was actually inspired by this post:
LINK from technoodling.net. I stumbled upon the topic there, researched more
about it and added my own spin about it. In fact my decision to buy an hp
netbook for my typing job instead of an Acer One was influenced by what I learned
from that post.
But the biggest reason why I go back to pinoy blogs to view
what they are posting about is to support them in their blogging business
and/or passion. Knowing that there are other pinoy bloggers who have been doing
this for a while also makes me want to continue doing this and make a living
out of it.
There are other pinoy bloggers that I also follow but these
ones I visit often because of a few reasons:
- They post often
- They post interesting stuff
- Their websites are not cluttered with ads(too much ads is such a turn off)
That’s pretty much my criteria so if you like to read
interesting stuff often without being disturbed by too much ads then give this
pinoy blogs a try.
Tech blogs:
Both of these websites post as often as they can about
gadgets and tech stuff. Technoodling.com posts many times a day while pinoytechblog.com
posts, at least, one a day. Most of the blog topics are updates popular tech
brands, mobile device, and internet related topics.
Funny blogs:
The professional heckler will make you laugh about stuff
only pinoys can relate to. The heckler posts 2-3 times a week but the posts are
pretty long and can be worth the wait most of the time. His topics are usually
about things that our society cares about like his recent posts about the new
year and funny politician public ads.
Facebuko is a different type of blog with a facebook-like
page layout and design. Facebuko posts jokes about popular personalities in Philippine
politics, media and other parts of the society. They’re creative so they
deserve to be visited often. They don’t post as often as you would like but the
new posts are always worth the wait.
Travel and living blogs:
Flaircandy is by a retired(@ 23) accountant who made a
living out of blogging. She posts many times per week too with no regular
interval but if you like travel blogs with lots of photos, you must follow this
blog. There are also posts about product reviews, blogging experiences and
fitness. There’s something for everyone in this blog.
| Don't Forget to Follow These Blogs |
What’s not to love in a foodie blog? The fact that I can’t
eat the pictures of delicious food as soon as I see them.
They post 3-4 times a week but there are a lot of food
pictures so you shouldn’t visit this blog if you are hungry. There are a lot of
posts about deserts but there also about recommended food and places to go to
for great food. In food there’s no better choice than an honest opinion and
that’s what DFC is about.
That’s my list for now but there are more to come so stay
tuned.
